Lawrence Warner, MD

I was born in the dusty little town of Moab, Utah. A pretty much unknown community back then, it has now become a world destination. My family moved to Portland, Oregon in my grade school years, and there I went on to attend high school, and later graduated from Portland State University. I served a 30 month mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in The Netherlands where I learned to speak Dutch, and developed a love for cycling as that was the common mode of transportation. After my return from Holland, I met my wife Marcia and we were married two weeks before I began my first year of medical school. After graduating from the University of Oregon Medical School, my wife, two children, and I moved to Phoenix, Arizona to begin my internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology. Two additional children joined our family during that time. The six of us then moved back to Oregon to begin my private practice in the community of McMinnville. Our fifth child soon joined the family, giving us three girls and two boys. I was the first OB-GYN specialist in the community and county and practiced there for 19 years, delivering about 3,000 babies. When our children were grown and had left home for school, my wife and I made the difficult decision to leave a thriving practice and a community where we had established deep roots, and move back to Utah. In 1997, we moved to Salem, Utah, and I began practicing in south Utah County, with offices in Payson and Provo, and now in Spanish Fork as well.
For the past 10 years I have served as the chairman of the department of OB-GYN at Mountain View Hospital where I have placed great emphasis on developing policies and procedures designed to promote patient safety and best practices. I have recently been elected as vice-chairman of the Utah Section of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and hope to continue my efforts on a state-wide level.

After 31 years of practice, I continue to love delivering babies and providing needed care in the area of gynecology and infertility. It is a privilege to work with wonderful physicians and staff at the several clinics that comprise Canyon View Medical Group. I currently practice in three different locations: Payson, Spanish Fork, and Provo.
