Goodbye Dr. LeSueur
Dr. Bret N. LeSueur, who has spent many wonderful years with us, has decided to leave Canyon View Medical. Dr. LeSueur desires to serve his country by pursuing a career in the military and has signed up for the United States Air Force. He started his practice at CVMG in December of 1999 and has built up a very successful practice in Springville. His patients really love him and we all will truly miss his bubbly personality. Dr. LeSueur hates winter and with certain specific family needs, he chose to go to the warmer North Carolina Climate.
We are grateful for the time he has spent with us, and are proud for the support he will be giving to our troops.
New Adminstrator at Spanish Fork:
We are excited to announce John Rider as the newest member of the Administrative Team. Although he originates from North Carolina, he is no stranger to Utah County. John received his first bachelor’s from BYU in Human Resources, where he also met his wife. Next he attended Duke University to obtain his Masters in Health Administration. John has an intense interest in the medical field and spent 6 years working at a small hospital in North Carolina after graduating.
His wife soon felt the need to come back to Utah, and with the small hospital being bought by a larger group, John acquiesced. John has since worked selling and marketing medical products, managing operations for IHC, and even time working with LabCorp. In his spare time, he received his second bachelor’s, in accounting, from Westminster College. He maintains a strong desire to learn and has a great interest in practice management.
While the medical field has been a major part of his life, John also found time to develop many skills. He loves to play basketball, go hiking, and read. He knows how to play the trumpet as well as the bass guitar. He learned French while serving an LDS mission in Paris, France and still enjoys reading, though not speaking, the language. He currently enjoys living in Utah County, spending time with his 5 children, and being a part of CVMG. We are excited to have such an experienced administrator join our group!

Spanish Fork Clinic to Build a New Facility:
Spanish Fork Clinic will begin construction on a new medical office building in 2010. The new building will house our family practice doctors and will permit us to bring our pediatricians and obstetricians downstairs for greater patient accessibility. We are exited about our new building and invite you to come visit us downstairs in our Spanish Fork reception area to see our architectural design. Follow the progress of our new building here.
Canyon View Adds Two New Doctors in the Summer of 2010:
We, at Canyon View Medical Group, are committed to growing to meet community medical needs. We will have two new doctors join us this summer. Dr. Matt Walton is a family practice doctor. He graduated from the University of North Texas Sciences Center and successfully completed his 3 year residency at Washington Hospital Family Practice Residency in Washington Pennsylvania. He will practice at the Spanish Fork Clinic.
We are also happy to have another Obstetrician join us, Dr. Reed Skinner. Dr. Skinner also attended medical school in Texas, the University of Texas Medical Health Science Center at San Antonio. He recently completed his residency at St. Louis University. Both of these fine doctors previously graduated from BYU.

Canyon View Medical Group Honored
Canyon View Medical honored for 10th year in a row.
Canyon View Medical Group has been honored for the tenth time as a best performer for medical groups in the United States. Each year medical groups submit lots of data for evaluation to the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), the major professional organization for medical clinics. All clinics who submit information are assessed and compared with all others in the United States to find best practices. Those selected as best performers are in about the top 2% of all those practices who submit information for evaluation. One of those areas in which we excel is in patient satisfaction and business operations.
